The celebration beginning at 1:45 really says a lot more than we think. After 24 hours of unimaginable catastrophes striking every corner of the world with not even the safest place to hide in, so many fellow human beings of all kinds dead, all of it being a foreboding cataclysm and an event that should've doomed us all and changed the Earth forever, it's finally OVER. The cheers and elation are not just over survival, it's the beginning of a new era and eternity for everyone and a new geologic period for Earth. They survived the impossible, a restart of Earth's history turning into a new chapter of life as we know it. For how humanity knew this was coming, how they prepared for it, through teamwork, friendship and bond, convincing those who were not centred to do it for them and even get rid of those who refused. If the movie were my way, I'd picture a gigantic celebration similar to NYE would take place on all three Arks with fireworks, crowds with children, world leaders and Ark staff waving flags, cheering, chanting and dancing. A victory party straight out of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. And possibly a memorial tower on the Cape of Good Hope being built for those who didn't make it and a symbol of humanity's influence similar to the Statue of Liberty.
