As for the grieving mother, when did it become okay to mete out *collective punishment* because a group of people "look like" an individual who committed a crime against her daughter? How is she any different from the perpetrator if she is campaigning for other innocent people to pay for the crime of a single individual? She said she doesn't "understand" what's happening and why people are concerned about a person who "is not even a US citizen." Has she never heard of "due process" and why it is essential in a "democracy, " which the United States purports to be?🤨
