Thick smoke hangs over Spring Lake, N.J. due to Canadian wildfires

It was a smoky scene in Spring Lake Thursday at about 8:30 a.m. New Jersey residents can expect another dismal day of unhealthy air, smoke and haze blanketing the state from wildfires hundreds of miles away in Canada, and the stifling conditions could linger for days.
