It's probably more or less the same situation here in Denmark. And I rarely see songbirds or butterflies where I live in Højbjerg, Aarhus.
They were plentiful, when I was a kid. We've screwed it up, and we'll be sorry some day. Whit out the insects, we wouldn't be her in the first place.

I am weary of mispronunciations and never ending predictions of doom
The constant reminders of extinction status
make most documentaries very sad and unpleasant to watch
All of us that have witnessed the tragedy of our world on this scale
Understand that we have long past the point of no return
brought on by civilization
Humans undoubtedly will bring themselves to an endangered status
and we will all suffer the the unimaginable torture
That we inflicted on everything in our known universe💀
The creatures in our known universe
that destroy their their hosts
are called parasites 🦠
That is our legacy
We will go down in history as the barbaric freaks
That left enough garbage 🗑 in their wake
to out live the pyramids
