Docm77 built an arrow cannon on Hermitcraft season 9 (I believe), which deleted fully enchanted netherite armour and shield, along with killing the person. From 3 THOUSAND blocks away. And that distance is covered in a single game tick.

As far as I remember the one used by Docm77 instakilled you from over 3k blocks and if you had max enchanted netherite armor, it was obliterated in 1 shot.
