Hello, I come from southern Italy, and I wanted to tell you, Greeks, that if you don't already know, in some small villages (including mine), we speak Griko, a language very similar to Byzantine Greek and also to modern Greek.
My grandparents speak it, and I would like to learn it to preserve this language that is disappearing.
Anyway, I’m proud to have Greek origins, even if only culturally.
