Nice and clean look. I'm going to switch to a 1× setup I honestly never use the smaller chain ring because I'm a speed junkie. Plus I live in Miami so aside from the occasional bride there's zero climbing. Thanks for the video the Allez looks super clean and fast without the front Derailleur and extra sprocket.

Still waiting for a proper 1x road bike group with a 10-50 12 speed MTB cassette and a 50 single chainring, don't mind the bigger gap between gears, I love the simplicity of 1x transmissions.

The ultimate set up is 1X9. Gears 1--3 for climbing. Gears 4--6 for cruising. Gears 7--9 for speed. People are ALWAYS overcomplicating things. 9 speeds RULE for alltime.
I run a 45 up front and a 9--26 on the back. 1X9. Theres never been a hill I couldnt get up. And I get all the speed I need on the 9 to 45. Which is the equivalent of an 11 to 55. And getting a cadence the right side of 90 is far easier on a 9 to 45.
All this nonsense about 1X11 and now even 1X12. Unless you are some fragile 80 year old granny you do not need more than 9 speeds ever. People have got soft over the last few decades.
