This is a clear sign of disrespect and disregard for the people of Edo State. Political leaders should be accountable and show respect for the electorate by participating in debates that provide a platform for voters to evaluate their plans and leadership qualities.

If you walk to the polling unit on Saturday and vote for APC or PDP (Monday Okpebolo or Asue Ighodalo), you should also consider visiting a psychiatrist on your way back, because you are part of the problem in this country. Nowhere in the world does an employee decline an interview with their employer and still deserve the job they are seeking.

Asue Ighodalo and Monday Okpebolo have disrespected the people of Edo State by refusing to participate in the debate for the governorship election. Voting for them after such disregard is a disservice to democracy.
