UGH! This rings true in the 1980s & again NOW! My father (law enforcement) worked with them. This agency was too worried about procedures and clearance and ultimately they let / made MY DAD and his team take immediate action or else that president would not be here! Let me state that again... IF MY DAD HAD NOT TAKEN THE ACTION THAT THIS AGENCY WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE, THAT PRESIDENT WOULD BE GONE!!! He despised this agency and said they were worthless. Rings true then... rings true now. They know what they are doing and why. Makes me sick. I'm just glad my dad is not here anymore to witness this as I am sure it would be an anger trigger AND RIGHTLY SO!!!

The secret service director didn’t do nothing but blame local law enforcement, and then another thing if yall have a certain proven way of doing things that work when it comes to protecting the president why all of a sudden in this day you leave everything up to assumption? “I assumed they were gonna do it” even though you know that local law enforcement isn’t equipped fully for that

The building that the shooter was on should have been secured. There should have been Secret Service on the roof of that building and around the building. This is unforgiveable.

Yes you did know. Cops watching him lost him and a shift change cop leaving saw him outside the building he was posted in and suggested new shift come investigate him. But that was text to shift leader never was acted on.

20 feet away and if he was at the window guarding you say he might have seen him climbing up walking over setting up then firing 8 shots, but their is no guarantee the officer would have stopped him? That's crazy. We are aware of Iran actively targeting but you aren't able to stop barny fiffe? No this can't be 12 coincidence's perfectly timed, or as this guy say yes it's a shame but it will never happen on my shift again. Lol
