I came to find out how to hook my fax up and my phone to the same phone jack. I wasn’t sure if I could hook my phone to the fax machine or not and wasn’t sure of either connections on the back of the fax machine. The problem with most people’s connections is, they only give you one line In on your modem/router today. And if not for the Extension jack on the fax machine, you would have to buy a totally different line and phone number for each machine, fax & phone. Being that I’ve never done this before, I wanted to make sure I did it right the First time. Thanks for explaining it for me. 🙂
