Vancouver Asian Food Tour @ Lunch Lady & Street Auntie

Dash Ice Cream Maker:
While social isolation is in full effect, we are still finding safe ways to connect and celebrate the winder holidays. During a safe socially distanced Christmas Gift Exchange with some friends, I took the opportunity during the day to visit a few places from some great meals.
First off, some comforting Vietnamese fair is in order for such a cold wet winter's day. I visited one of the more recent popular eateries in Vancouver called the Lunch Lady...with the claim to fame from a visit by the late Anthony Bourdain. A very nice modern take on Vietnamese street food and it certainly did not disappoint. Luscious noodles and crispy spring rolls are always in favor and certainly helps build up some energy for a long day of shopping.
While the comforting food was a good start, I got a chance to visit somewhere a little more fancy; enjoying a endless tasting menu from a relatively new eatery called Street Auntie. While I feared it would be small tiny portions with proper manners required; I was pleasantly surprised with the welcoming and friendly servers and hosts. And while there were small plates of food, they were endless...they just don't stop coming until you say so...(what an amazing buffet style attitude).
As always, thank you so much for joining and wishing you and your family a great holiday!
