I spent some time looking at Amazon’s policies and guarantees and this is what I found 👀

Amazon has a late delivery refund, which covers shipping fees if the delivery is late and the delivery date/time is guaranteed during checkout. You have to ask Amazon for compensation, which may be a $5 – $10 credit, a full refund of the item cost and shipping fees, or a free month of Amazon Prime 👌🏼

If a delivery attempt is not made by the guaranteed date, Amazon will refund of any associated shipping fees as well. Not all orders come with this guarantee though. You can see all the details on your confirmation email. There has to be a guaranteed date range. Remember to do contact Amazon as soon as this happens or else it might be difficult to get any sort of compensation for this.

Also, keep track of any other delivery issues you’ve had. If there have been other late deliveries, misplaced orders, or damaged items, you may be able to use this to your advantage. Amazon will most likely provide higher credit or additional Prime membership months to customers with a history of delivery issues.

Oh boy! This worked like a charm 😊!! I just called Amazon, my package was delayed for a day. It will be delivered today. So I just called Amazon and requested to get compasated. The customer service offered $5 and I told her I want a $10 gift card and she was ok I'll get a $10 gift All thanks to this video 🎉

Seriously you guys, need to be kind with customer service agents, it’s not their fault that the package gets delayed, so ask for compensation if you think you are entitled but be kind
