I played in goal and was good at anticipating where the striker would put it, one season I saved 5 out 7 penalties one of which flew over the bar and only one was scored but one day when the opposition were awarded a penalty I could tell this kid was going down the middle, and I can’t explain how awkward it feels to stand still and just catch the ball that’s been kicked straight at you, you almost want to fall down and make it look like you’ve partly dived 😂
