Ha! Do you ever forget how old you are or is it just me?

These are some great tips! Though I will say, that as a 42 year old woman, I refuse to give up colorful eyeshadow and shimmer. They make me happy, and I could care less if my wrinkles show..or my eyes look a bit more hooded. 😂 what can I say, I'm a rebel 🤪. I say do what makes you happy and what makes you feel beautiful! Thank you for some of these tips though!!

My eyesight isn't the greatest but I use a 10x magnification mirror for my eyes and I can see everything perfectly once I recover from the shock of seeing every crevasse on my face!

LOL - I am 70 😳and although I like to use my cat liner - my only concession has been to browns and grey. I will die with a full mouth in fuschia or Red lol... don’t give up ladies. You are as old as you feel and a crabby old lady with taught skin and perfect glow will never enjoy the end part of her life! 😽

55 and greasy as a teenager here. I'm waiting for this dry skin I'm supposed to be getting any day now! I gave up anything on the lower lash line and it really brightens up my look.

I'm 45 and have crow's feet and texture. For drugstore options my favorite under eye color corrector is the believe Beauty in Peach from the Dollar General. I love the elf putty blushes for cream blush. And I use some of the more natural-looking shades of the elf no budge Shadow sticks around the eye like an eyeliner. They're foolproof even for shaky hand and you can smudge them out. They are gorgeous and really don't budge.

If I do set my under eyes with a powder, I use a dampened sponge. I dip into the powder lightly and gently tap onto under the eyes. I then take a medium sized concealer brush, spray it with just the smallest amount of setting spray, and gently press it over the powder. It might seem like a lot of steps, but it really locks my concealer into place and keeps it from creasing.
It also lasts the whole day without touch-ups.

the thing I have been doing even if I don't wear makeup is when I'm done with all my skin care in the morning is I spray the Milani Green Goddess facial mist on my face. it kind of helps juice up the hyaluronic acid in my skin cream and I swear my face feels amazing all day long

I have been using the Beauty Pie under eye color corrector and it’s amazing!! I am 53 (54 in May) and I will never hide that. I earned every year and a lot of people don’t get the opportunity to reach that age so be proud!

I've never tried the eye primer around the lips, and you better believe I'm testing that today with a noticeable lip color! 💋 I do use it right in the area where my glasses sit on my nose and it helps to reduce makeup caking in that spot. ✨

I can't justify $32 for the Bobbi Brown eye concealer, but my favorite is the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer. It's really fantastic, and it builds beautifully. Doesn't sink into my fine lines.

Well I'm 56 and these tips have been very helpful, especially applying eyeshadow in circular motions in the crease & outer V. I've been using eyeshadow as liner too.

At 38, my dry-ish skin has refused any type of setting powder.... until just recently i finally jumped on the laura mercier transulescent powder train and it is STUNNING! It did not over dry, it blurred in a beautiful soft focus kinda way and I'm sold forever.

Awesome video! I’m 47 and have dry, more mature skin. I have some texture on my cheekbones and hyperpigmentation. I wish I had worn sunscreen. Anyway, I found that if I use a dense short dome brush (contour brush) and a stipple motion, I can get the look of having applied a cream blush but with powder blush. You can also apply a powder highlighter with a similar brush and motion to avoid the appearance of texture.

I'm almost totally blind and can't really do eyeliner in the traditional way. 2 tips 2 ways
1. Use a smudge brush or angled brush to go above the lash line like she said.
2. If you have the time. I touch my lashes with the eyeliner and follow the shaft to the base and I'm able to use traditional liner without getting dots or uneven strokes all over my lid. So touch the lash towards the outside corner and follow the shaft to the lid then go along the base of the lashes slowly. It takes practice

Thank you so much for this video! I will be 60 this summer, and I will admit, this biggest surprise has been how much I have had to change the products and way I apply my makeup. You hit the nail on the head with all these suggestions... especially the eyes. My eyelids are super crepey, so I don't wear shimmer shadows, as they make the texture more noticeable. I also use very little complexion makeup these days! Ali Andreea just did a video applying makeup to her mother, that demonstrates your suggestions so well!!
