US Secret Service Chief Kimberly Cheatle Resigns After Congress Outrage Over Trump Shooting

US Secret Service Director resigned a day after acknowledging failure to prevent an assassination attempt against Donald Trump. Kimberly Cheatle was facing bipartisan calls to step down after a 20-year-old gunman wounded Trump at a July 13 campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. She acknowledged that on July 13, the day of the shooting, the agency “fell short” of its mission to “to protect our nation’s leaders”. Cheatle's resignation was overdue, Mike Johnson, the Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives, said. "She should have done this at least a week ago," Johnson told reporters.

I strongly believe that we should have secret service agents that are tall and strong to carry if necessary someone like Trump or the same height because their is a poster going around the world showing a very short secret service women in front of Trump but it looks luke she would be unable in like this emergency situation to carry Trump if necessary to sheild him from harm and cover him

completely during this situation if life and death.

This woman running the secret service shows up with no details, not even a timeline. A building within 140 metres of the stage is not in the perimeter, the sharpshooter is complety oblivious of the shooter for minutes and only noticing the assassin after he fired several shots. For all the safety and security technology ordinary people noticed the shooter before the secret service. Really? This is 100% incompentence. And the woman heading this 'service' expecting to come to a hearing without any answers, selling a load of garbage and expecting to keep her job really shows how dumb and incompetent the secret service has become. If Trump hadn't moved his head for that split second his brain would have been blown out. And yet this same woman would probably have sat there at the hearing still without anwsers, selling a load of garbage and expecting to keep her job. What's become of the USA?
