As a porto fan (rival of Amorim for almost 5 seasons) Amorim is a serious manager. If he sees players who he cant trust he will sell them or put them on the stands. He is frontal and a tactical genius for his age. Good luck, united!

I agree these frauds have got 6 managers sacked we shouldn’t listen to anything they say. I just hope INEOS didn’t tell him to make these players better as a condition because I hope he’s got the green light to clear some of the senior players. i think the players are getting in the positions, they are worst for big chances missed etc. I dont know if its a case of working on finishing or getting them to improve their decisions of shot selection. but some of that is uncoachable. it comes down to have they got football intelligence and are smart enough to apply it and have they killer instinct/composure. a lot of these attackers just dont. no coach can fix that.

First thing Amorim needs to do straight away is change the formation that will show the players that he is fully resetting the system, squad and even the hierarchy within the squad who have been favoured by playing for too long when they do not deserve to play! He needs to (currently) not listen to Ruud about the players for the first couple of weeks let Amorim figure out who he likes and how they fit into HIS TEAM AND FORMATION! So to not have Ruud tell him who he likes or who is the best players are Amorim needs to learn and watch what these players can do by himself and he needs to be absolutely ruthless sell the players he doesn't want! So that he can fund the players he would like to bring in to fit his system that he wants to build with the current players we have!
