Canada should 'decouple' supply chain relationship with China, innovation minister says

Innovation Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne tells Rosemary Barton Live that it's in Canada's best interest to build resilient supply chains and that there needs to be a 'decoupling' from China and regimes that don't share the same values.

The only problem is that Canada is really not that of a big deal to China. Decoupling will only hurt Canada more so than it would hurt China because our trades to China is very minimal on a grand scale of things.

China is not responsible for blowing up Germanys "pipeline" in fact the Germanys leader was in China day's ago with business men. China is not responsible for Afghanistan or Iraq. It’s about time Canada started thinking about this. Decoupling is the only way to rid ourselves of the CCP leach. There are hundreds of other countries around the planet that we can deal with in a safe and respectable manner unlike the relationship we have now with China.
