Yeah most people remember the Model S as the first Tesla, but before that there was this, the original Lotus Elise-based Roadster. Remarkable how far Tesla has come since they made 2, 450 of these.

Is a Lotus, Elon was able to get the chasis to build on it an EV. Amazing how just a decade and a half later they have the biggest mega factories and giga factories and are leading by miles the EV industry. And best of all, made in the USA.
