for step 1 use the 500, 800, ans 1500 grit dry only, after wiping let it dry, only use the water or windex with the 8000 grit. for each paper go over the entire loght right to left then from end to end up and down. For the bumpy areas remove the sand paper and go over unsanded area by hand. A helpful hint instead of more polish just spray a little water on the pad it will bring the polish back to life. to make it last longer put a coat of car way on it with UV protection. I recomend 303 marine protectant, i get it from amazon. over all you did a nice job.
