As a guitar player, I hate the fact that people think a "jam session" is an ego battle.

I never really understood that. Maybe it's because people watched the movie Crossroads to many times. That is total BS!!

When you get two players like these two guys, there is NO-Repeat ZERO ego! It's all about the music!!

The Viper getting destroyed is heartbreaking. I’m from NYC and was once inside CBGB as part of a neighborhood walking tour. Never got to experience a live show there. Did anyone try to get the Viper declared as an LA and/or National Historic Site? That would be the only way to save the place. I think they tried and failed with CBGB, but it’s always worth a shot. They should apply with all the music, comedy clubs, restaurants, and bars that have legit historic significance on Sunset Strip and in the area.

I’m so glad JJN invited Joe to play there with him. That was extremely gracious. So much Blues Power on that small stage!! Love it!
