My mom did bacon wrapped dates and bacon wrapped chicken livers in the 60's. It's called rumaki.

My take is Gorgonzola with a thin wrap of prosciutto in oven for a few minutes. Not too long don’t want to mess up the cheese.

We have something similar in South Africa but people use maraschino cherries, no cream cheese though. So essentially bacon wrapped cherries 😅. It is really tasty and the rule is to grill them on the BBQ it really enhances the flavors.

We have dates wrapped in bacon for every family party since I was a kid ! I know it looks weird but the combo just tastes amazing ❤
