VENUS - by Frankie Avalon (My girlfriend Trần Khánh Vy is Venus)

My former girlfriend Venus (Trần Khánh Vy) and I saw each other for about six months in Dalat, Vietnam. I was one very lucky man. I met her on her birthday as my Tour Guide. We soon developed a strong friendship, not romantic, just friends like father and daughter. This video is mostly from a holiday in Da Nang, Vietnam. With me Venus rode on an airplane for the first time, went to Nha Trang Vinpearl Water Park, bowling together, taught her basics to drive a car, saw the ocean for the first time, and wade in it, and the first for many other things including golf, swimming, archery, ice skating, speed boating. We also took a speed boat to the enchanted Island called, MerPerle Hon Tam Resort, off the coast of Nha Trang, Vietnam and to Ba Na Hills Theme park in Da Nang, Vietnam. After I returned to Oregon for three months, we never saw each other again. I was so lucky to have experienced this wonderful young lady like a daughter. Those six months were such fun times, making another person happy. I make no apologies knowing Venus, so bright, happy, passionate, outgoing, yet sometimes childlike and tender. Venus and I are much better for our experiences together. I hope she will not forget me long after I am gone. - Jim
