Dance tutorial ''Leventikos'' from Greece

🕺 ‘’Leventikos‘’, also known as Litós (Λιτός), Kucano, Nešo or Pusteno, is a dance of western Macedonia, mainly performed by ethnic Macedonians and Greeks in the town of Florina, Greece and in the Resen and Bitola regions in neighbouring North Macedonia. Reflecting on the dance steps: slow-quick-quick-slow-quick, the meter comprises five beats of varying length but these lengths come in different variations: The Levendikos dance performed in Petroussa is very different from the one in Florina.
⚙️ The project ‘’ Bridging differences through traditional dances'' with acronym ‘’Horos’’ and project reference 622157-EPP-1-2020-1-EL-SPO-SSCP was co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission. ‘’Horos’’ project aims to help in the integration of the people with fewer opportunities in the society through the traditional dances and promote the equal opportunities of everyone to participate in this type of sport activity.
