I could reach the tabs, but I couldn't get the tabs to release the unit no matter how much I tried. Used a screwdriver from the outside and managed to free the 2 o'clock tab. From that point all was as shown on the video. Results are perfect!

Was able to follow the video no problem and get the spring back in with the new pieces. Works great now! It was dusty in there

Edit- the new metal hinge actually fell out and of course I threw away the original. DONT BUY THIS OFF AMAZON!
I bought this off Amazon and here I am 6 months later and my spring came off again... The tabs on the inside are such a pain not looking forward to doing it again. Save your money and DON'T buy this metal hinge!
