Explaining Daniel's Prophecies (Part 1) - Chapters 2, 7, and 8

What do those wacky visions in the book of Daniel mean? What is does an image of gold, silver, brass, iron, and clay (found in Daniel 2) have to do with a lion with wings, a bear, a leopard with four heads and four wings, and a beast with ten horns (found in Daniel 7)? Furthermore, what does any of that have to do with a goat with one horn who kills a ram in Daniel 8? You might be surprised to learn that all of the visions in Daniel teach different details about the same subject.

Seeing angels ...seeing His holy scrolls...seeing His stuff?

Or being in His actual presense ?

Thank you for using the book of Daniel to explain the book of Daniel. God made it so obvious as to how He knows the end from the beginning and that He desires us to know this also that we may honor/worship Him. Presentation as a whole was fabulous in every regard.

A few more notes on what we know starting with Daniel 2: We know that Roman empire from Emperor Constantine ''married'' Christianity, but it was used for power at that time. That might be the clay. Also a transition from Daniel 2 to 7 on this last kingdom, we know that Rome was never conquered, but is was split by 10 Kingdoms: Alemanni(Germans), Burgundians(Swiss), Franks(French), Lombards(Italians), Saxons(English), Suevi(Portuguese), Visigoths(Spanish), Vandals(Extinct in 534 AD), Heruli(extict ca. 600AD), Ostrogoths(extict 553AD) - So last 3 Kings/Kingdoms(like the 3 horns) were extict between 534 and 600 AD. One interesting thing is that the Papacy started 476 AD and gained autoracy for the next period and papal supremacy started around 600 ad(while the 3 kingdomes fallen) - which is a ''different' kingdom like the others, and had as face a person, who speaks pompous words and did changed times and law. Very interesting.

Blessings this is my first time on your channel I am studying the book of Daniel, and just today I was asking myself after reading chapter 8 if the statue in Nebuchadnezzers dream is connected to the images in Daniels dream in chapter 8. I thought I'd just look up some videos on YouTube on the book of Daniel, and I just click on to this video based on these specific chapters, and i can't believe you're going over the very same thing I was just wondering myself a few hours ago, so I thank the LORD for the confirmation.
