NEXT UPDATE! ALL New Locations coming to Fallout 76!

Fallout 76’s next major update is live on the player test server, giving players a first look at the new map expansion in to Skyline Valley, the new 7th region in Appalachia.

In todays video we are running through all the new locations, the new public events and some of the new creatures & factions that call this region home. Before finishing with a selection of very interesting easter eggs that potentially tease future content.

The Skyline update is def the shot in the arm this game needed and absolutely the biggest update since Wastelanders. I just hope all the hype of the show sticks around so people stay for it.

I'm not going to lie, I am super excited for this update. Based on what has been showcased in this video, this could very well be 76's best update since Wastelanders. It's precisely what the community has been asking for. I certainly hope that with the success of the Fallout TV show and the potential revenue that brings into the game via new players, that we'll continue to see more content like this dropping more frequently.

Fun Fact it appears the Storm Goliath uses an advanced version of Fallout 4’s cut “Institute Power Armor” this can be clearly seen in the chest plate as both lack a Helmet and use their red chest plate to see

Fallout 76 has such intriguing concepts and lore in contrast to the other games. They really outdid themselves with this games writing

Be cool if in the future we could start as a Ghoul, have its own unique intro, and with the recent “start at level 20” thing they could wrap this thing around that, or even give Ghouls their own starting level. Additionally, people always download alternate start mods for Skyrim and plenty BGS titles, would be cool if it even randomized where you spawn in. Since Ghouls don’t have to start in a vault you could theoretically have the player start anywhere in Appalachia. With some randomized supplies/background with a note, giving you a reason to search for The Wayward and even maybe something to give you a reason to also look for the Overseer of 76, since you’re a ghoul maybe the overall reasoning could be spite or who knows what. Either way, there’s potential here for some cool shit.

Holy hell is Vault 63 huge. The idea of the vault metro is, for some reason, making me think of the USG Ishimura from Dead Space with the tram in the middle.

I'm glad to see there finally doing something with Vault 63 because to those who don't know, Vault 63 had a completed interior and everything since before Vault 91 dropped. Way back when i was able to glitch into 96, 91 and 63. 91 was completed and looks the same as now, 96 was incomplete with a unique weapon at the start called the "Metabolic Syringer" and a message at the end which literally said "Congrats asshole", and 63 has been completed forever now, so its actually nice to see them give it purpose.

It's not really an expansion of the map but more of them filling in the empty area at the bottom middle of the map


It's still cool to see this happen, perhaps in the future they'll truly extend the length of the map with even more regions down the road.

Though it's probably a small thing, I'm excited that we're hearing Norfolk mentioned as a location. This is an interesting location IMO to explore (being home to literally the world's largest naval port and some nice gardens & museums in my experience). Has potential for a new expedition destination, something focusing on the Enclave or even BOS, but we'll have to wait and see.

This shit is the kind of expansion I’ve wanted since 2018. Not expeditions, just making the damn map bigger and giving us new things to explore right in Appalachia. It’s not as if there’s not enough real world locations to draw from.
