She basically means she will pay you back for what you did. If you paid for her meal, she will pay for your next meal. If you're a criminal, then it's pay back time.

She remembers every single act of kindness and makes sure that she will return the favour. It's crazy how so many people doesn't understand something so simple, but it doesn't matter Eula doesn't care if others understand her anyway, she just does what she does.

I thought it was mentioned that she is trying to put to rest people's unease with her heritage. People would be suspicious of her, and any kind gesture of hers would be perceived as a ploy and buildup to something bad.

So, instead, if she's stuck being seen as a villain, she'd go for the cartoon villain path. She is "up front" about her "intent" to have vengeance, so nobody is on guard against an impending betrayal, and at the same time her "threats" are so generic and casual that they don't carry any weight.

In other words, rather than act kind and make people afraid of her potential villainous streak, she acts the incompetent and harmless villain.

I thought it was obvious, once you realize she’s super tsundere her way for talking clicks. At the same time though I love that it’s deeper than simple tsundere. She’s so use to being treated as the bad guy, she just fully embraces the role. It’s cute that she can’t fully commit to it with friends.

Thats what I like about Eula, its her way of settling without escalating it further. Also its her way to get even with someone.

i remember hearing that it was also her feeling the need to make up for what her clan did, and finding another reason to separate herself more from the clan.

Whenever she says "I will have vengeance" whenever she gets "offended", I actually interpreted it as her mockingly imitating the Lawrence clan's past tyranny over the people whenever they get slightly inconvenienced or things don't go their way
Always thought she uses that line purposely to exaggerate and it seemingly pointed out how overly absurd her family's treatment towards the poor people were

I don't fault anyone for misunderstanding her. In game wise, she does come from a notorious family. No one wants to associate with them especially since the family still holds a grudge against the people (look at Eula's uncle in her story quest). The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Now, realistically, we shouldn't judge a person based on their family. We should always look at their actions. Eula has proved many times she isn't like her family of old (we are unsure if anyone else in her family shares her view).

I always saw Eula as a little scary but I started to realize what she meant by “vengeance” once I finally did her story quest. Now she is one of my favorite characters because she makes me laugh so much
