This is the Heavies Class rental league final at Dallas Karting Complex. I'm starting 3rd and try to manage my place in the race.

If I was DKC I would not be happy with the new asphalt. I notice it is already cracking on the edges in a lot places around this track. Also what ever sealer they put on it was the wrong sealer for racing. They should start spraying it lightly in the turns at least with VHT or some other type of traction compound so you aren't drifting in the turns. Good race for you I could tell you were really concentrating on driving a good line!

It's a shame that this track doesn't seem to be improving much from the initial paving (if anything, it's deteriorating). Does DKC hold any league races on the other track?

That track requires flawless driving. It has improved since August. A small bit. Hopefully the work they plan in January will do some good.
