If your not keeping ur catch, use single hook, it just best for fish, dont get mess up in mouth. And release is way faster. So join the real club of true fishermen. Use single hook evry time, you will get the fish you need with a better taste of mankind.

I love using Savage Gear Seeker 16 g with a single hook for trout fishing in shallow water. It has a fantastic flip action on spin stops!

Those fish seem to short strike a lot. I wonder if an assist hook would increase your catch rate and not decrease the lures action as much as the treble

I think the hook-up rate would be different on those singles when spinning rathern than trolling as you would be ready to strike...just a thought.
