An interesting fact about Nat King Cole was that he recorded an album of Spanish songs. However he did not speak a word of Spanish and had the lyrics transcribed phonetically. The result was pretty good except for the heavy english accent.

Always loved his music. I grew up in the late 40's and thru the 50's and watched him on TV and always like him. Funny. as a typical white kid I never even thought about his race. always the man and his talent. admired him for that and not who or what his race was. ECF

What a guy, courageous and talented, not Many would have had his guts, he was a Musician and not a uncle tom for Black Rights.
No one had the right to demand from him more than normals folks did, just because he was known.
Funny he die of cancer but rarely see him with a cigarette?
