My Dad grew up reading the comics and animated series. He likes the first Hulk movie and even in the Avengers movie but let me tell youuuu. He would start going on a long tirade rants on how much they did his boi dirty in recent years.

For me it's less that he's not as cool and more about the lack of development. We didn't get a hulk movie in such a long time and then they just time skip to professor hulk.

I doubt we'll see it in live action, but I enjoy Al Ewing's interpretation of Devil Hulk. How Hulk acts like a sort of Big Brother/Father Figure to Bruce while also having this ruthlessness around and passing judgment on his enemies. It's by far my favorite depiction of Bruce's inner most conflict with Hulk.
