She could see/hear the Dutch runner coming alongside and tried to go all out by lengthening her stride at the very end. That's not "being scared, " that's pouring it on. It's a gamble in running because you COULD trip yourself up by changing your gait. To my knowledge, neither the Swiss runner nor anyone on the Swiss team lodged a complaint or inquiry of any kind so, in all likelihood that means there was no contact.

Her whole left arm was in the other lane, why didn't the judges called that. When even 1 cm can ruin hurdles runners this is definitely enough to ruin your run.

Her arms did not touch the swiss but it obstructed her clearly as the dutch girls arm was on the lane of the swiss girl. I think that was kinda unfair. Watch clips with front view footage. It was clear as day the upper body and arm of the dutch runner was out of her lane

I mean short and tall runners each got their pros and cons. A short runner has faster strides while a tall runner compensates their slower strides with longer strides. Nothing unfair each runner should know to well how to utilise their advantages to win..

Two questions... why are you laughing at her in the title? She was half the size of the girl from the Netherlands and she was running her heart out. Nothing to laugh at my guy. 2nd question, I don't know all the rules of relay races, but why did they give the Swiss 3rd place??? She crossed the line in 2nd place despite falling.
