The hennin was a high fashion piece worn by noble women in the 15th century. They were often in the shape of a cone.

Hoods were popular during the Tudor era. The gable hood is triangular and while the french hood is round.

The snood is a net-like hat that was worn during the Italian renaissance.

If I had to choose I would prefer hoods however I appreciate the delicacy, dare say femininity and detail of the snoods. Your beret deserves honorable mention as well, thank you Ms.Mae ✨

I prefer the snoods because you can add beads or other jewelry and flowers for decorations.

The hennin was all about height. Being tall or the tallest, even as an illusion made you seem more important.
You see that in a lot of paintings THE most important person amongst a group would be the tallest or the one standing.
Therefore the hennin gave height to women to accentuate their importance.

Snoods are very comfy and practical. When my hair was longer i would wear them on a regular basis.
