I like you but I have to be honest here mate. You’re bias. You find some unreasonably deep meaning in some of TØP lyrics up to the point where one could say you over-exaggerate it. (Not saying Tyler’s lyrics are meaningless because duh)
But when it comes to Halsey mate you didn’t even try with that “hell of a night” line

The sentence "I'm no sweet dream, but I'm hell of a night" means that she's not a good, submissive girl, she's a warrior and she stands for what she thinks is right. At least for me.

Yes! Thank you for uploading this... I am a fan of Halsey and this song is SO good, knowing what she's been through the past few years, and how it changed her to this "boring" pop-ish artist was so sad, but now that she's back, with "11 Minutes" with Yungblud ft. Travis Barker, and "Nightmare"?! I am super pumped.

She does tell you her next step when she says at the end that she's happy being a nightmare now. She used to try to find the right persona while she never could please everyone she has finally realized that if she's going to always disappoint someone then she would rather be herself and be a nightmare for those who tried to make her into someone else. The "but I'm a hell of a night" is a play off men equating a one night stand being a fantasy to her being chaotic and manic person like a nightmare that was still fun and adrenaline inducing instead of a sweet fantasy like men want. To me it screams that she had a "me too" experience with one or more men who were both attracted to her chaotic vibe but also wanted a pop princess. They put down her core self to form THEIR vision but she's saying she's done with that.
