You forgot one flaw: Ancient people didn't map out where land ends. Early biblical peoples rarely went out of Palestine and Anatolia, so how would they know if there were oceans dividing the continents, and just assumed it was filled with land until they 'reached the edge'? Speaking of edges, the Bible literally switches between using both corners and edges. They aren't the same thing.

This video is funny.... The four corners of the earth do not mean the four corners of a flat map of the earth. I believe it means the four corners of landmasses, 1:Europe and Asia 2:Africa 3:North American 4:South American, furthermore, the Mediterranean means middle earth.
