Curious how much our van cost? We break down all the costs that went into the van to give you a better idea. Keep in mind, every van is unique. You can build a stellar van on a much tighter budget, or you could build an even nicer van than ours with a larger budget! There are areas of the van that we decided to spend more money on, and areas where we cut our cost. It all depends on what your priorities are.

How did we afford this? Don't worry, we're going to make a seperate video all about that + our best tips for saving up! Everything we have built for ourselves is a product of working hard and living frugally. Trust me, if we can do it, so can you! Everyone is on their own journey, as are we.

✺Who are we?
We are Kensie and Joey, and young couple with big dreams of living an alternative lifestyle and making the best of this short life that we have. While we haven't had the chance to hit the road full time quite yet, we hope that by next spring we'll be traveling full time and sharing all of that with you. Cool breakdown! Buying a van with almost 300k miles is risky. But if there's any van that you can do that with, it's the Sprinter. Great job budgeting wisely!

In Australia it's way more expensive in every way to build and buy a decent van. My sprinter van had done 330k when brought. Now 400k 6 years later. Spent a lot on some repairs but it's still going ok. Rust will probably kill it, not km's .

Dang someone drove the heck out that thing. Diesels will last a lot longer then a gas engine though so the high mileage isn't terrible.
