Greetings from Scotland (again!)! This is a centuries old song about a young Cossack's dream of his own death on the battlefield. Every Russian probably knows this iconic song by heart! Diana (as always) became quite emotional herself when she sings such a deep emotional song. She simply lets the song take control of her body and soul, she has said herself that she sometimes becomes so immersed in a song, she often remembers nothing of the actual performance and only becomes aware after the song is finished. No disrespect at all to the other great contestants but they all knew after hearing her first performance that she was the winner of this contest! Still only 18yo, can you imagine what level she'll be at when she's mid 30's?!! I don't know why Diana hasn't uploaded the other performances on her YT channel, maybe she decided to have a breathing space, not overload us and do a few at a time? Great Reaction as always!

Она просто позволяет песне управлять ее телом и душой, она сказала себе, что иногда настолько погружается в песню, что часто ничего не помнит о реальном исполнении и осознает это только после того, как песня закончена. Никакого неуважения к другим великим конкурсантам, но все они, услышав ее первое выступление, знали, что она стала победительницей этого конкурса! Ей всего 18 лет, представляете, на каком уровне она будет, когда ей будет за 30? !! Я не знаю, почему Диана не загрузила другие выступления на свой канал YT, может быть, она решила дать передышку, не перегружать нас и делать несколько одновременно? Отличная реакция, как всегда!

What a uniquely beautiful voice this gorgeous young woman has. She doesn't just sing the words of the song she conveys the soul of the song with all of her talents, charisma and extraordinary artistic skills which is why it sounds so beautiful to us even when we don't understand a single word. She is magnificent now but she will get even better as she explores her talent and skills into the future. I think she will be a world super star and deservedly so.
