Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is called a traitor and compared to Benedict Arnold because the Right is grasping at anything at his point, given the nearing midterm elections. Hate to call you out on inaccuracy, but my son is actually named Benedikt. He's half German, and it's common there with the 'k' spelling. People who don't like it can call him Ben, but no one has ever brought up Benedict Arnold to us in conversation, and I would mock anyone who did. And aside from Benedict Cumberbatch, there is also his co-star in the Dr. Strange movies, Benedict Wong, who is one of my other favorite actors. It's a nice name, so let's bring it back. My last name is NOT Arnold, so I guess his super narrow point with that example is correct, but it does nothing to help his stupid-ass ramblings.
