Who is Jesus? | Just a Minute (Genesis 1)

A merism is a figure of speech where opposite pairs indicate and illustrate the whole. For example: near and far; young and old; black and white, all these are merisms which represent everyone.

And so in Genesis 1:1, it not only only tells us that God created the heaven and the earth, but it instructs us that God created everything!

In the very last book of the Bible, Jesus Himself says in Revelation 22:13, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Simply put, Jesus is everything!

So why not start your day and end every day with God, and those minutes in between, why don’t you give them to Him too!
