1) I personally can’t see Arteta making that many changes, 4 (Calafiori coming in, Timber and Saka moving to the midfield, Sterling making his first start without any sub appearances prior). Also, Calafiori is injured and they won’t risk their investment after losing Merino already for some time.

2) Trossard has never looked good or confident in the left 8 to me.

For Spurs, I’d personally keep everything the same except Havertz for Rice, Trossard for Havertz and Nwaneri for Ode. Purely because of the Rice red card and Ode injury. Arsenal made the decision to remove ESR and Viera from the team, to give room for Nwaneri. Ode is injured and therefore he should be given a chance according to their own squad planning. He’s played in the position during the whole preseason so has started to develop a relationship with White and Saka to some extent.

If it doesn’t work, it can be fixed during the game and if it does, we’ve got another option on the bench and don’t have to run Ode into the ground in the future. If you don’t trust your players, they’ll never be able to prove themselves.

Something that worked very well in pre season was Trossard on the left, Jesus as a false nine and Havertz behind him. They seemed to open up a lot of space and had a fluid connectionI would love to see that combo on the left and Saka + Sterling cooking on the right!🤌

Hard no on Partey being a right 8. I prefer Jorginho, he actually put in man of the match performances against big sides last year playing higher. I like the creative solutions you started the video with if you want Saka to get the most touches and want to use Sterling right away. This is all fine so long as Califiori starts at left back. We actually increase in defensive solidity this way and in possession there are solutions. We have the squad, let's see what Mikel does and get behind the boys! Right now I want Mikel to be bold. The other teams will NOT know how to gameplan the squad changes.

I don't agree with playing defenders in midfield and I can't see Arteta doing that either. I think Jorginho's standout performance last season was Liverpool at home, in which he played the left 8 role. For me, he comes in for Odegaard and Havertz drops to midfield with either Tros/Jesus up top and Gabi on the left. From there you have options with Nwaneri, Trossard /Jesus and Sterling as needed.

Its fun that we can see Nwaneri and maybe Sterling but yep, we are proper fooked for me! Deffo a top 4-5 race this year coz these injuries aint gonna stop. Especially with International footy every 3 odd weeks!
