NO FRY - FRIED ICE CREAM | EASY AND ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
Показать описание
Hello, welcome to EZ Eatery! Living on the central coast of California, we have a ton of Mexican restaurants. My absolute favorite dessert from these restaurants is fried ice cream. Now, I don't have a deep fryer, so I had to get creative and recreate using what I have on hand and I did come across many recipes for a no fry fried ice cream. I thought I'd give it a try adding my own little twist. It turned out so delicious! I can't wait to share with you =)
Here is the recipe...
4-5 C corn flake cereal
1 half gallon ice cream (I used vanilla)
2 Tbsp sugar
dash of cinammon
dash of salt
1/2 stick butter
You will also need a plastic baggie, a rolling pin, bowl, and plastic wrap.
To prepare start with your ice cream. In the center of your plastic wrap, spoon out ice cream into the center. Roll up and place in freezer. I made mine about 4 inches in diameter. While the ice cream is freezing, start smashing the corn flakes into little crumbs by putting some in a baggie and rolling over with the rolling pin. I had a small baggie, so I had to repeat a few times. Next, melt butter. Once melted, add in corn flake crumbs until coated with butter. Add in all other ingredients. Place in bowl. Now grab your ice cream balls and start coating in crumble mixture. That's it! Top with your favorites, such as whipped cream, chocolate, honey, caramel, and a cherry. Everything tastes better with a cherry on top (in my opinion).
I hope you enjoy this super easy and absolutely delicious treat! I love simple recipes and am enjoying sharing with you. Please subscribe to follow along and try out many easy recipes. Comments and thumbs up are much appreciated. Thank you!
