If you read the 1.17.1 patch notes you can no longer find blue axolotl’s through normal spawning, only through breeding (if I read it correctly!)

When the update first released I went to play with the axolotls and the blue one was the first one that came out of the egg, my first ever axolotl was the blue one

Jokes on you it only takes me like around 150 to 180 spawn eggs and bucket to got it

Also I get a baby blue axolotl which makes it more rarer than a grown up axolotl

Funnily enough when axolotls where added to the game I was spawning them in to see all the colors they came in and after spawning in eight I got a purple/blue axolotl which I didn’t know was rare, and I made a goal to have four axolotls of the same color, so after twenty minutes of just spawning them in my game started lagging and I just deleted the world now i can’t get a blue one no matter how hard I try :(

I was playin an animal role play mod and I turned into a axolotl and I turned into a purple/blue axolotl in the first try

The axolotl habitad need a lot of see grass and moss and no coral because that’s where they live.
