Показать описание
The Luba Empire was a pre-colonial Central African state centered in the Southern region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It existed from the late 15th century to the early 20th century and was one of the largest and most powerful states in the region. It was founded by King Kongolo Maniema around 1480 and initially centered around the kingdom of Luba, which was located in the Lualaba River Valley. The empire was known for its highly sophisticated political system, which was based on a centralized monarchy. It also had a complex economic system based on taxation and the exploitation of resources, which allowed the Luba to become one of the most prosperous states in the region.
