Fallout 4 easily wins with power armor not even a debate

i like the older yao gai, the skinny body with super long arms just looks more monstrous, the fallout 4 one kind of looks more like a regular bear with some messed up fur

the power armors in Fallout 4 do look like an actuall POWER armor instead of a skinny glorified suit, ngl the power armors in Fallout 3/NV looks very crappy

Mirelurks and mirelurk king in fallout 3 honestly look like humans in a crabby costume, fallout 4 mirelurks and mirrlurk king realky feel like they mutated from crabs and shrimps

I’ve always felt like the designs for fo4 enemies weren’t intimidating at all, they were high resolution sure but intimidating they were not

Fo3 was scary with the ferals ghouls and deathclaws with its creepy atmosphere in the metros and the green filter as you go above ground

when seeing them displayed together i never realised how much the fallout 3/nv power armor looks like cosplay.

genuinely, it looks like someone tried to make a costume of the fallout 4 power armour made of tissue paper and glue... so flimsy looking.

One thing 4 got so right was the scale of PA. having the armor stand at 7ft tall makes it look less like something I'd see at a convention and more of a walking tank.

Did you know that deathclaws were supposed to be mammals and be furry? They became reptiles in Fallout (1), because the devs didn't have the opportunity to make a creature model furry. Thus, the most accurate representation of the original deathclaw concept is in Fallout Tactics.
