Dick Bell Park in summer 2016 was the peak Pokémon Go experience in Ottawa.
Huge crowds into the night, super rare spawns off the lures at the end of the peninsula because there were no spawn points, only lure spawns. So great. Even in pouring rain there would be people sitting out there luring up the stops. There really was nothing like it.

Fun fact about Shiny Pokemon: Before Pokemon X and Y, shiny Pokemon were not "designed" per se but instead just a palette swap. There was basically a limited number of sprite palettes for the Gameboys so they just changed them into another one for shinies.

I can really relate to this content because it is basically what I do almost every day. Nice to see I'm not the only one going out in the snow to just play. This looks a lot more like the game I play than all the crazy stories about lots of shundo's etc.

I really like this series! It’s such a chill experience to follow along with.
The first place I played Pokémon Go was back in 2016 at my old high school best friend’s house in a cute little neighborhood, right in her yard I chose my starter (Bulby boi 🐸 ofc) I remember being so excited to catch Pokémon irl that I went to the local Walmart. Before the camera feature was added, I was screenshotting those weedles and Caterpies that appeared in my grocery cart and was just over the moon! To this day it’s still a great place to get spawns 😂 here’s some different ones to consider for Rate That Shiny:
