My cabin filter area was completely different. It was a real nightmare - I did not have easy bolts to undo like at 1:38. In fact, I ended up sawing the glove box completely out so I can always have easy access when replacing the cabin filter haha

I have exactly the same Micra as yours (A/C installed) and mine doesn’t have the polen filter inside splitting in two the plastic air box, in my case it has a whole plastic box with an internal metallic evaporator and with no paper plastic filter. I’m telling you because just last month i had tried to replace it and i had found that other “different system”. By the way congratulations for your Micra’s tricks and best wishes from Spain.

I do have the one with those Dodgy dotted lines, and the only non destructive method is removing the dashboard unfortunately, so it is the better way to cut through the dotted lines nissan so graciously provided us, to fix mine afterwards i used a door hinge and a metal plate.

How can i fix it the cable that opens to boot and petrol flat the black cason broke. The cable didn't break. If you press the lever down the petrol flap open if you pull the lever up the boot open. It doesn't do this anymore

I have a Y reg 1.4 Activ, 2001, it has air con, but the box under the glove box doesn't have a pollen filter. The air con really doesn't work well anymore, as i suppose it's blocked up. Is there another place for the pollen filter? Where is the air intake for the aircon system? Is there no answer to these issues because it was just designed to stop working after a few years? Anybody out there know the answer?

How old is your Micra? I have a 5door pre-facelift 1998 basic trim model and there is just large area of open space behind the glovebox. A piece of black plastic panelling slopes up to the right to the area behind the blower controls etc, but there is no sign of any filter. Indeed, there is no sign of the large black "box" that is prominent in you video and of course contains the filter.

I am guessing there is no cabin air filer in my car. Apparently they were not legally required prior to 2000.
