Is a Salesforce Cert More Valuable Than Master’s Degree??

Hey everybody, in this video I talk about how my salesforce certifications gave me as much demand... if not more demand than my entire college degree.

I spent three months getting the salesforce administrator and sales Cloud consultant certifications and I spent 5 1/2 years getting my economics degree and data science masters, and my salesforce certifications have put me in so much higher demand than my college degrees have.

So if you’re struggling to find a job and you’re coming out of college then you should get a salesforce certification.

It’s going to put you on a whole other playing field and make you way more in-demand in the job market.

Let me know if you have any questions about which salesforce certification you should get first.

A lot of people get the "Salesforce Administrator" certification first and then get the "Platform App Builder" certification after that.

I always tell people that if everybody is going in one direction you should go in the other direction in order to create more demand for yourself. To do that, it means you should probably get a more niche certification like the "Marketing Cloud Email Specialist" certification, or the "CPQ Specialist" certification, or the "Pardot Specialist" certification.

I worked as an admission counselor for a masters in data science program at 2 well known Universities...after seeing students invest over 70K I know the value in their degree but after becoming a Salesforce analyst the value of a cert is incredibly more valuable and in the long run while making Admin income if one truley wants they can even get their degree after and be even more qualified. Great video.

Sap functional consultants are highest paid than SF. All the rest are paid terribly low.

Hey so I was looking in linkedin for jobs just to see the demand for them! It’s great! But i also se that many employers want bachelors degree! I didn’t finish college I only have like 17 credit! Do you recommend me getting at least an associate in some sort of tech degree?

Hey, I really like your videos, I'm finishing up my degree in MIS, would you do a video on the actual hiring process is like at salesforce. I'm wondering how you are actually getting paid for what you do. Are you on a contract or an employee? is it piece rate? Would really appreciate that!

Hey I graduated with a Tech MGMT bachelors degree last fall and after not finding good positions I’m thinking back about going to get an MS in MIS. I’ve also started working on getting my SF cert and have little experience with it from an internship I did in my last semester. Would you recommend getting my masters or working on that Admin cert?
