This American totally agrees with you, India!! Here in California, like in India, it gets really hot, and we don't play "let's pretend it doesn't get hot in California", we run the AC!! The French use 80% nuclear power on their grid, so why the guilt over AC?!? Over here we are 70% zero emission today in California...it would be 80%, but we have some wildfires going on that are causing haze.

Look at these temps in Paris for the next nine days, pretty warm! (in centigrade.) In theory, geothermal cooling is a good idea, but their system doesn't work very well. Apparently it only reduces the temperature by 7 degrees centigrade! Not enough! 😲

Olympics was a peak of sport and they manage to destroy that 😀 i see coruption in every aspect of this games. Opening ceremony > village > refs decisions > man fighting women > sena swimming

Pretty sad state of affairs in Paris. Just for comparison, Auburn and other SEC schools host probably 80, 000+ new
people for football games each year, 7+ weekends with masses arriving Thursday (or earlier) and staying thru Sunday.
Plenty of food, soft beds, air conditioning for everyone (and no e coli). They cant do it for 15, 000? I get it, its one game but give me
use of 3 more sec schools and their facilities and we can host the whole thing!

Wow! From the opening ceremony, poor food options and housing accommodations, this Olympics will go down as the worst cluster f*** in the game’s history. The beds were the same as in Tokyo and you could choose your mattress according to the comfort you desired. There is a lot of misinformation and fake news on the internet.
