14:00 :: Fun fact: armadillos have terrible eyesight and are easily startled, and jump vertically when said startling happens, as was shown in the clip. This is part of why they get hit by cars so often - they can't really see the car coming and jump when they finally do, just in time to get hit by the bumper, or they jump up into the engine compartment and get wrecked by things like oil pans and crossmembers. If they didn't literally jump into a collision they could easily let the car pass over them in most cases (with the obvious exception being cars with low ground clearance).
