ICYM: Mark Robinson announces lawsuit against CNN

North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is suing CNN over a report that alleged the Republican made racist and sexually explicit comments on a pornographic website more than a decade ago, his lawyer said Tuesday.

Robinson called himself the victim of a "high-tech lynching," echoing a phrase made famous by now-U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, a fellow Black Republican, describing Thomas' contentious 1991 confirmation hearing.

At the 3:08 minute mark in to the Press conference, Robinson’s Attorney said they are seeking $50, 000, 000 (50 Million Dollars) for reputational harm not 50 thousand. I saw the same press conference.
